2010 Pasadena City College 5K and Kids Run
Pasadena Forward, the nonprofit organizer of the Pasadena Marathon, is collaborating with Pasadena City College to present the 26th annual Pasadena City College 5K and Kids Run, benefiting the Community Education Center. Proceeds help fund the CEC's book purchase/book lending program, which assists students with their textbook needs throughout each semester, and the "Holiday around the World" program, which celebrates the CEC's multi-cultural student body.
About the 5K.
The 5K follows the Rose Bowl loop, with a start and Finish on Arroyo Blvd. The course is certified by USA Track and Field and will be chip timed.
About the Kids Run.
The Kids Fun Run is a non-competitive, approximately 1K, run for children 3 and up on a festive, secure course that offers plenty of space for parents to cheer or escort their racers. Children will have the option to run a shorter (0.5K) or longer course (1K).

- 6:00 am Finish Line Festival and Kids Fair opens to the public
- Day-of registration opens
- 6:50 am Day-of registration for 5K closes
- 7:00 am 5K starts
- 7:50 am Kids Warm Up
- 8:00 am Kids Run Start
- 8:00 am Live music begins
- 8:15 am Awards Ceremony
- 8:30 am Music resumes
- 9:00 am All activities conclude
Awards
Trophies will be given to the top 3 overall men and women, and award medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each Men's and Women's age group category. Age group divisions are: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.
